  • Overweight and oversized baggage will be charged extra.

  • Some special items can also be included in the baggage allowance if they are not hazardous or illegal.

  • Baggage rules for Spirit Airlines provide an extra baggage allowance for military personnel. They can bring two checked bags, one carry-on item, and one personal item, regardless of the ticket type.

  • The baggage policy also states that if you want to, you can purchase the extra allowance online and save your money.

Personal bag:

  • Every passenger is allowed to bring one personal item without paying any charge.

  • Small items, such as a coat or an umbrella, or any other small item.

  • Baggage allowance for Spirit Airlines provides that passengers are also allowed to carry a car seat, a stroller, and a wheelchair.

  • They can extend their baggage allowance if they want to.

  • The permitted dimensions of Spirit Airlines' size of carry-on bag are 22 x 18 x 10 inches.

  • If the bag does not fit or extends beyond the dimensions, it will be covered under the checked bag.

Checked baggage:

  • The passengers are allowed to carry checked baggage only if they are traveling with a Go Big ticket.

  • The total dimension of the baggage should not exceed 62 inches, including the handle and wheel.

  • The weight of the baggage must be under 50 pounds.

  • The Bag policy Spirit Airlines states that the maximum weight of a bag that can be carried as a checked bag is 100 linear inches.

Baggage fees:

  • Suppose your checked bag exceeds the weight from 51 pounds to 100 pounds. Then they have to pay $150.

  • If your bag falls between the dimensions of 61 inches and 80 inches, then you have to pay $125.

  • Spirit Air baggage policy usually prohibits carrying a bag exceeding 80 linear inches, but in special cases, they can take special items for $150.
